Baby Massage

The baby massage course involves learning gentle, rhythmic stroking of your baby’s body with your hands and is suitable for babies aged 6 weeks up to circa 4 months.  The smoothing strokes stimulate the production of the feel-good hormone oxytocin in you and your baby.  Setting aside a special time each day to massage your baby is a great way to bond, connect and interact.  Relaxation improves sleep patterns, increased flexibility and reduced agitation.  Can promote relief of colic, constipation, teething discomfort, excess mucus and muscular tension. Baby massage is also a great way for dads to be involved and create that special bond and time together.

Each group provides ideas and activities tailored for the stage of development to help build a child’s communication, social and early literacy skills in a relaxed and friendly environment. Also, an opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age.
