Dad’s Stay and Play

This is a fun-filled play session for dads, grandfathers, and male carers with children aged 0-5. It includes planned, age-appropriate sensory activities and physical areas for playing, learning, bonding, exploring, and developing together.

This session is a termly drop-in (9:30 am – 11:00 am) at Southmead Children’s Centre, so there is no need to book.

Dads Rock

As part of the Family Hubs project, Dads Rock runs free 7 week courses for Bristol residing dads/male carers and their children under 2 years old (but Dads may take siblings up to age 5 years as long as they book on with an under 2 year old). Music, stories and games are used to improve the mental health and well-being of dads, male caregivers and their little ones. Learn how child-led musical play helps develop the baby’s and toddler’s emotional regulation, communication, language, numeracy, and creativity.

If you want to know more about the groups, please email Emma Page – emma@evolvemusic.org.uk or check out the website Dads Rock Groups in Bristol.
