Breastfeeding a Distracted Baby

This week we are looking at tips to support you feeding your distracted baby.

Babies at around 6 months are much more aware of their surroundings and become easily distracted by sounds and their environment. This can make feeding a bit of a challenge and possibly make you feel put off feeding out in public or other busy situations. This is all part of a babies development, below are some links that can help feed through the distractions. It’s much the same as when we are expected to eat a meal with lots going on it can be hard to focus so if you can try keep the environment as calm as possible it should help.
